This website is operated by GINOU Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to GINOU. GINOU offers this website, including all information, tools and services available on this site to you, the user, subject to your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.
Article 1 - Webshop 1.1.
GINOU is registered with the Chamber of Commerce and makes its legal contribution to the Tax Authorities. On our website you will find our Chamber of Commerce number and VAT number. There you will also find our contact details.
1.2. We never provide your personal data to third parties. If we provide your personal data to third parties, we will always ask for your permission in advance.

1.5. GINOU has taken out professional liability insurance to protect itself against any unwarranted liability of a customer.
1.6. We strive to provide you with excellent service at all times. If you have any doubts about purchasing a product, our staff are happy to help.
1.7. You can sign up for our newsletter. You will then be informed of our offer every two weeks.
Article 2 - Reflection period
2.1. Unfortunately, we cannot accept refunds if you change your mind. If the scent you have chosen is not to your liking, we are happy to exchange your purchase for another of our beautiful scents. Exchanges are only accepted for full price items within 14 days of purchase. Exchange is not possible for candles or limited editions bought on sale. If you receive an item damaged or defective, we will of course exchange or refund it. If you receive a damaged / defective item, you must notify us within 7 days. You only pay the shipping costs for returning the product in question. If you have already made a payment, you will receive a credit invoice and the amount paid by you will be refunded to your account number. To return your product, please send your product to our home studio. Please contact Info@ginou.nl for return details.
2.2. Products that are returned to us must be returned unused, complete, in original condition, in the original packaging (including any plastic cover or dust bag).
2.3. Depreciation will be charged for damage or incomplete items.
2.4. Due to the nature of our products, used candles cannot be returned or refunded.
2.5. Should your purchase arrive damaged, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org within 7 days of arrival, including a description of the damage and photographic evidence. The products and packaging must be returned in unused condition. Any product and packaging returned in used condition will not be considered defective / damaged and additional shipping charges may apply to return the product or, if applicable, a refund will be made within 14 days. If the product is returned in an unused condition, we will be happy to replace the product. Failure to comply with the terms of our returns policy will result in us not being able to issue you a refund.
Article 3 - The contract
3.1. The agreement between the webshop and the customer is final when the customer has indicated that he agrees to the terms and conditions and he has authorized the webshop to debit the money from his account, when the customer has paid a payment via iDEAL or Paypal, or when an invoice is sent to the customer afterwards. After the reflection period of 14 days has passed and payment has been received by the webshop, the customer has become the owner of the product in question.
3.2. The agreement is concluded electronically, by filling in the mandatory fields and agreeing to the terms and conditions.
3.3. As a customer you are obliged to fulfill your payment obligation to the webshop. If you do not pay within the deadline, you will receive a reminder from us. If you still haven't paid after 14 days, you will be charged. Have you still not paid the amount due after several reminders? we transfer the collection to a collection agency.
3.4. After making a purchase, you will receive written confirmation of your purchase by email. It contains the product you have purchased, what it costs you and where to go with any complaints and comments.
3.5. We are obliged to deliver the product or article to you within 30 days. If, due to unforeseen circumstances, the article cannot be delivered within this period, we will inform you in writing. After the expiry of these 30 days, you will receive the purchase amount already paid back from us. This can never be more than 50 percent of the total purchase amount. However, if you have indicated in advance that a replacement is also possible, we will supply you with a replacement product or article that meets your requirements as much as possible. You can of course indicate in advance that you do not want this.
3.6. The delivery of products abroad can take longer than a delivery in THE NETHERLANDS. The costs charged for shipping to an address abroad are visible to you when you purchase the product.
Article 4 - The price
4.1. The prices stated on our webshop always include VAT. The costs that have to be paid for sending the product become visible when you have added the product to your shopping cart.
4.2. If you authorize us to automatically debit an amount from your account number, you are obliged to provide us with a correct account number. Abuse or fraud has been punished and reported to the authorities who need to be aware. In addition, a report is made to the police.
4.3. The price listed with the product on the website cannot change during your purchase. You pay the amount that is visible with the product and whatever is confirmed to you, if you electronically agree to the purchase. The purchase price is stated again.
4.4. If you purchase a product during a period when no promotion applies, you will not be eligible for a discount afterwards.
Article 5 - Complaints and warranty
5.1. Complaints about the delivery must in the first instance be reported to the forwarder. Naturally, our delivery staff will do their best to deliver the product to your home undamaged.
5.2. Complaints about the product itself must be reported to us in writing by e-mail. Please describe your complaint specifically if possible. If it is within our capabilities, we will solve the problem for you.
5.3. Complaints are usually handled by us within 14 days. A complaint is always handled in writing. After a complaint has been handled, you will receive a survey from us regarding complaint handling. We kindly request you to complete this and return it to us. We want to provide you with excellent service at all times.
5.4. If the product fails within the 7-day warranty period from delivery, we will refund you for a replacement product at the same purchase price. However, this does not apply if there is intent or intentional damage. If you agree with GINOU's terms and conditions, we kindly ask you to tick the box.
